All above guide prices are inclusive of all taxes and VAT.

Times mentioned above are calculated as departure time of the guide from Portorož and his/her return to Portorož. Travel time to meet the group is included in the above mentioned times. Should the group depart from other destinations, travel one way and arrive to Portorož/Piran, transfers of the guide must be organised by the booking party or will be billed as follows:

GENERAL CONDITIONS

ORDERING PARTY means a person, natural or legal, that orders guide and travel services from the COMPANY and agrees that the COMPANY at its own discretion organizes the execution of booked services. The ORDERING PARTY can also act as a CLIENT.

COMPANY means the following company: TOP Line d.o.o. Portorož, Obala 114, 6320 Portorož, Slovenia, VAT ID: SI53966449, REG NO: 5348412000

GUIDE means a person, employed or engaged by the COMPANY that meets requirements laid down by the Tourism Promotion Act from the Slovenian government to provide travel related services.

BOOKING

All booked guide services must be submitted in writing by e-mail, at least 24 hours prior to departure and must include all basic information:

Date, time and place of departure for the requested service time
Description of the program
Full paying party,
Full name of group
Language in which the service should be provided
Specification of included and nonincluded services

By accepting these terms the Company agrees that the services ordered will be provided once the ordering party recieves a written confirmation by the Company and is deemed as a signed contract between both parties.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation of booked, paid and confirmed services is possible at following terms:

Up to 7 days prior to the start of service – free of charge
Between 7 and 3 days prior to the start of service – 50% of all services will be billed
Between 3 days and 12 hours before the start of service – 75% of all services will be billed
12 hours or »non show« – 100% of all services will be billed.

ONE GUIDE, ONE GROUP

One guide can guide up to one group at any given moment. One group is considered maximum of 50 persons. If the group exceeds 50 persons, the Company has the right to a supplement of 50% on guide rates.

DURATION CALCULATION

The total duration of any given service is the total time that the Guide spends on performing the agreed service and it includes the time it takes the guide to come to point of departure or to return to the origin where the service started.

DELAY

The ordering party must inform the Company the exact time of commencement of services. Should the group arrive late, the end time of the excursion will remain according to the original departure time. Should the Ordering party wish to prolong the excursion past the paid time limit, an appropriate rate will be applied, but only under the condition that the Guide does not have any other engagements. In no way can the delay of one group influence the departure time of the following group.

COSTS AND SERVICES

The guide is entitled to all services provided to the group (food, lodging, transportation, admission fees, etc.) and the Company is entitled to all reimbursements of any expenses occured during the trip.

INSURANCE

The Ordering party is due to insure the Guide in case of accident if travelling by Ordering party’s means.

SALES OF EXTRA SERVICES

If agreed with the Ordering party, various optional services at the expense of the passenger may be offered and organised by the Guide, but are not subject to any commission to the Ordering party unless previously agreed with the Company.

GUIDE’S CONTACTS

The contacts of the guides are never sent to Ordering parties more than 24 hours prior to departure. All details must be provided at time of booking to the Company and will be forwarded to the guide accordingly. This is done with an intent that the guides do not spend their times coordinating programs with future groups instead of doing their job at hand.

COMPLAINTS

All complaints must be presented to guide during the execution of services, with a written follow up to the Company by e-mail no later than 8 days from the service date. Complaints must be dated, signed and written in Slovenian, English, German or Italian.

PAYMENT OF SERVICES

All services must be paid in advance at time of booking. The Company shall issue a pro forma invoice to the Ordering party and send it together with the confirmation. We advise the Ordering party to send proof of payment once it has been executed to assure its acceptance. Unpaid pro forma invoices do not oblige the Company to execute booked services.
